About Us

In the spring of 2005, owner and operator Dan Higgins relocated to the Eastern Shore with his wife and two children. After years of working for a large family owned marine construction company in Long Island, New York, we decided it was time for a change. From a family member we learned of the growth on the Eastern Shore, one thing led to another and that is the birth of Higgins Marine Construction.

In two short years, we have constructed approximately twenty-five docks ranging from a 50' dock in Onancock to an 800' dock in Quinby. We have also done a few bulkheads and rebuilt Cedar Point marina. To get a full appreciation for the quality of our work please take a minute to visit the photo gallery.
